125+ Layer Damascus Western Style Chef Knife
This eye-catching pattern-welded Damascus chef knife is a highly functional piece of art and a versatile all-rounder in the kitchen.
Forged entirely at the Balete Blades studio, over 125 layers of 1084 and 15N20 high carbon steel were re-stacked, distorted, and re-layered multiple times to make the hypnotizing pattern.
Built for a comfortable grip, a sculpted burlap Micarta handle furnishes the 9.4 inch (240mm) blade, allowing the user to deftly wield this chef knife across a variety of cutting styles.
To fashion the handle, a solid block of Burlap Micarta was carefully sculpted by hand. One can easily appreciate the interesting textures and natural patterns of this material.
The burlap pairs well with the ivory-colored G10 liners, further highlighting the contrast of the knife. Finally, the brightly polished titanium pins complement the handle with a silver accent.
